Last year Titan Outdoor sponsored the Campaign Poster Awards 'Digital category'. To keep momentum of the award, Titan is helping the next generation of art directors to recognise Digital Outdoor's potential.

A new and exciting initiative between Titan and Slade was set up to help push the creative boundaries of digital/Transvision and stimulate both the number and quality of entries for the forthcoming Campaign poster awards.

We set a brief for students to create a 30 second piece, which would explore and challenge the creative capabilities of the screen…''Students are encouraged to relate proposals in some way to the public context of station/travel/trains".

We received 16 entries in total, all high quality, with differing artistic takes on the brief.

1st prize was presented to Jonathan Velardi, 2nd year BA Fine Art Media, for his work, 'Euston print one' - inspired by novelty ties and the scenery/journeys an individual encounters on their daily commute…

2nd prize was awarded to Marianna Christofides, BA Fine Art Media - her work 'Untitled' is every bit thought provoking and imaginative.

This is the first year Maiden has set up this initiative/competition, we have high hopes for the future of this initiative - Maiden want these Awards to demonstrate to the Creative community that Digital is sophisticated, sometimes understated and often thought provoking. Digital is now Art.
